I purchased a replacement AT Dial Guard for my Canon A1 and now need to do the repair. It seems straightforward to replace it, but I was wondering if there are any instructions, references, or just plain advice I could get before I attempt this.
Thanks

Just lay the camera on its back to do this and watch out for the tiny ballbearing below the sliding section, it is not spring loaded, just sitting in a recess.

Thanks. That little ballbearing did have me worried.
