I've just acquired an OM10 from my friend. It wasn't been in use for a very long time. The shutter seems to work fine ,except for the battery heating up .Whenever i put in new batteries (2x LR44 1.5v),it would eventually heat up abnormally! then the power runs out...
Can anyone knows what's the problem of my cam?

a short-circuit somewhere.
Test it with a simple multi-tester available at any electronic parts store for under USD10.

In any case, don't insert another set of batteries, you'll ruin them too.
