Hello,

Does anyone here know how to remove the top cover from the original Minolta 1 degree spotmeter, the one with the cylindrical handle and the large cast metal head unit? I need to see if I can do anything about a screeching gear train in the motor drive. Otherwise the meter works fine as it has for many years.

There is one small screw next to the viewfinder but it doesnt seem to loosen anything up.

Thanks for any help. Len
