I have not used my T90 in some time. It was carefully stored in the dry in its camera bag. I recently took it out to run some film through it and the shutter is stuck - I have heard this is a common problem for the T90 - Mine is in mint condition and has had very little film through it. I have ordered a factory maintenance manual but was wondering if anyone has stripped a T90 before?

Removing and cleaning the shutter on the T90 is a major strip-down. Unless you are well versed in working on 'electronic' cameras, you would be advised to get your mint T90 seen to by a professional. This fault in a lightly used camera is not a costly repair.

The problem with the official Canon repair documentation, is that they are written presuming that the technician has attended a Canon training course. You can end up doing more damage than you were originally trying to repair, because not all the strip-down procedure is listed.

Is that a Freudian slip in your title, implying that you are not pleased with your camera???
