I've just picked up a job lot of 32mm filters for a pittance on ebay. Amongst them are two clear glass ones labelled, on slip in the case, "3d close-up" and "1d close-up". Certainly, when peered through, they seem to focus considerably closer than the normal minimum distance. Googling hasn't worked for me because of the use of "3D" as a buzzword. Can anyone tell me any more about their application? Is the number a clue to the distance they fous at, or would I need an acesory rangefinder to try them? Thanks, Adrian |

Your lenses are 1 Diopter and 3 Diopter close-up lenses. Google diopter and you will find plenty of information. |
