I am no stranger to TLR repairs but have not yet tackled a Rolleicord. Mine is in good working order except for one minor glitch, in that the cocking lever must be manually returned to the firing position.
What is the configuration and location of the spring that would control this ?
I have the front assembly off the camera but see no clues regarding the placement of the spring.

I don't think it's a glitch. I have several CLAd 'cords and that's the way they are.

That seems to be the consensus. It just seemed a little strange, being used to manual cocking, that the lever didn't return by itself. I cleaned and lubed the cocking ring while I had it apart anyway. Everything else is perfect.

Thanks for your reply.

Roger
