I would like to repaint my Agfa top silver or another color, would this be a good idea? If so what color of silver do I use. Did anyone try anything from Home Depot? |

As Werner says, you pays yer money and you takes yer choice!
I don't know what Agfa you have, but I'd be tempted to try to find a junker (you can always use it for parts - but make sure it really is dead before you start repainting!), and try paint schemes on that to see what looks good and what looks rancid.
Here in the UK Humbrol used to make a polished aluminium enamel paint, which you allowed to dry and then polished - something like that might give a reasonable finish, especially if you are looking for something to repair an old finish, rather than replace it.

I have an Agfa Karat that I touched up a bit with Krylon (short cuts) paint SCB-004 chrome. But I wouldn't use it on the whole camera body. Don |
