I am in the process of attempting to combine two separate No. 4A Folding Kodak Cameras into one superb example. However, the bed on the nicer body has been refinished and subsequently destroyed. The bed on the camera I am stripping for parts is beautiful. I removed the leather on both sides of the camera I am stripping for parts and I still am unable to gain access to the hinge. Does anyone know how to separate the bed from the body via removing the pin in the hinge, or any other means? I would like to swap out the refinished bed for the pristine original bed. Thank you.
