I have a T3 that I is in good working condition. The only problem I have is that the view finder is fairly dirty I am not sure if it is on the screen or the prism. Does anybody have experience doing this? My searches have come up empty.
I would also like to replace the diaprism screen with a split image screen but the only one I have been able to find so far cost more than I paid for the camera with 9 lenses.

One more thing, The black trim on the back of the camera as well as the little film type holder thing (sorry for the technical term) are brassing. What kind of paint is the best to touch this area up?
