Ancient (c.1900) Goerz Doppel Anastigmat Serie III. Diaphragm ring turnable but too stiff to use in the field. Blades assumed to be paper or vulcanized rubber and would be ruined by flood cleaning with Ronsonol. Is there a way to loosen up without disassembly?

Personally, I would not try anything without disassembly. This looks like it would clean up very well if you disassemble it and clean everything carefully. The big spanner ring in your right hand photo should release the plate that actuates the blades.
