I was looking at the archives, and Kiron Kid mentioned that he had the repair manual for a Vivitar 28-70mm voom lens. Is Kiron Kid still active here, or does anyone else have a copy of this manual? I also have a Rokinon 80-200mm zoom for a Nikon F Photomic FTn. I need some information on reapiring this lens. The apeture is sticking on this lens.

Any help with these 2 old lenses would be greatly appreciated.

Altho neither of those are covered in Tomosy's bk2, you might get some helpful ideas by checking out what he does list.

Don:

Thanks for your reply. I think I really need the Vivitar service manual for this lens. I messed up and tore the lens down. I thought I would remember how the lens went back together. No such luck. The lens worked but was very loose, and full of grit. I would like to be able to replace the rollers if I can find them, but would be happy just getting the lens put back together.

I have repaired the Rokinon lens, so do not feel to bad about about the $20.00 I paid for the 2 lenses.
