Hi everyone

In an attempt to open a Leica IIIf RD with self-timer, I was a bit careless and loosened the self-timer screw without tensioning the self-timer beforehand. I could neither take out the screw nor the ST-lever. When I pushed the top of the camera and the gear/shutter unit slightly out of the case, the ST buzzed shortly and now has no tension anymore. How can I take the ST screw and lever out in this situation to be able to move the shutter unit out of the case? I hope this was no fatal mistake. In the past I have repaired a couple of Leica III's but never with the ST-unit.

Many thanks for your advice! This forum is a wonderful source of information!
