Hi,
I stumbled over a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super B this morning at a thrift store, and they're asking $40 for it. Is this kind of on the high side, or do you find it reasonable? It appears to be working very well, though the meter may be a little wonky. I didn't have my reading glasses with me, so I'm not sure what the settings were.

Hello. Assuming the camera is functioning well, is in excellent cosmetic condition, the lightmeter is functioning, and the glass is clean and free from fungus, haze, blemishing, or scratching, I would say go for it. I have a Contaflex Super B in an antique mall priced at $95, and I have sold a few in the past for $80-120 [Depending Upon Condition]. I hope this helps. |
