My first medium format a Yashica-Mat EM has arrived. It looks very beautify except the magnifying glass is lose in one side. This is easy to fix.

Worse is that I canīt fire the shutter.... I think maybe it is me who are doing something wrong.

Any ideas ?
Shout there be loaded a film before it is possible to fire?

It someone have a link to a repair manual I would really appreciate it.

You need to put a roll of film or an empty spool into the take-up side (the top one). Winding the film will then cock th shutter. You can use an empty spool, but sometimes the little gear that is turned by the turning spool slips on the plastic spool. Just wind some masking tape around the spool on the side where the gear presses against it to stop it from slipping (of course you don't need that tape when you are actually using film).
