Dear sirs, My yashica Minister II needs a vertical algnment of the split image focus. It works fine horizontaly but is a few milimiters out of place vertically which makes a bit confusing focusing on low light, low contrast images. Has anyone spotted the screw that corrects such alignment? Thank you for your time and experience-sharing. Pablo. Argentina.
I think you can get to it by removing the accessory shoe. If there are holes under the shoe, then these are for adjustment. You may need a strong penlight to locate the screw, or you can try to find it by feel. Be careful, because it usually only takes a very small turn of the screw to shift the rangefinder mirror.
