It's developed some oily aperture blades and I'm considering cracking it open to see if I can make the save.

It's the version with the aperture ring out near the front of the lens. Anyone on here taken one of these apart? Got any tips or advice?

Thanks!

Is it an MC Rokkor or an Auto Rokkor? I doubt it makes a difference, but it's best to be specific about these things.

The end of the lens says "MC TELE ROKKOR PF 135mm f/2.8"

Thanks, that tells me something. I'll see if there's a site that describes the dismantling of the lens. I've only done two 135/2.8 Minolta lenses, a 5/4 MC Celtic and a 4/4 MD Rokkor-X, neither like your older Rokkor.

Sorry, I haven't. I've only done the 135/2.8s listed above and the 58/1.4 lens. I have read about the 35/2.8 somewhere, but I didn't pay attention as I don't even have one.
