I successfully re-calibrated the Kalart rangefinder on the baby Crown Graphic I bought. The lens is a 101mm Graphic Graphlar. Of the two internal scales the rear was dead on with the chart when I finished but the front scale was 4.5 instead of 2. I can't get the two images to converge at infinity no matter what. No more adjustment in the cam screw adjustment. There is a bolt on the actuator arm which looks like it would allow adjustment there but I'm concerned if I move it from its current position I'll never get it back correctly. The image convergence is only off a little and only at the infinity setting. There is a set screw on the rear scale which needs replacing. Does anybody know the thread pitch on it? |
