I have three Yashica Mat cameras in parts which I am trying to make one workable camera. My problem is in the part of the winding mechanism on all three will not push the shutter cocking arm all the way (which is pointed out on the attached photos). Is there some adjustment can be made to the winding mechanism to so can travel farther down the track. All of the shutters have been cleaned and lubricated.

You can bend the lever that engages the cocking meshanism, such that it travels farther and actually cocks the shutter. To get to that lever, you'd have to remove the winding crank and pretty much the entire mechanism underneath the cover on that side of the camera. My beater Mat had the same problem, and this is exactly how I fixed it.

Come to think of it, you might also check if the lens/shutter is not attached correctly. If it came loose and is rotated a bit counterclockwise that might prevent the shutter from being cocked. Rotating the whole lens/shutter assembly a couple of degrees clockwise and tightening it from the back might just do the trick (that worked for me on a Weltaflex).

Good luck - Markus

Good luck and don't forget the anti-reverse spool gear that falls out when apart and spring that gets out of position. Don

Your shutter may have rotated out of position. Loosen the retaining nut n straighten it out.
