i have a panasonic dmc ls75 digital camera. it was working for a while. it was like new. then i turned it off and turned it back on and it acted really bad. it showed a gray screen with a line (not a crack) and the lens came out and in over and over. then when i turned it off the screen was still bright. i had to take the batteries out. what is wrong with my camera

Sadly, I guess nobody here will have the slightest idea what your problem is. Digital cameras do not lend themselves to DIY repairs, hence the specialisation in classic mechanical cameras on the Forum. However, the camera is exhibiting classic signs of electronic component failure.

Many manufacturers offer a fixed price repair on their modern stuff - you basically get a brand new set of electronics inside your old body. This is the only way to repair modern electronic cameras economically. You will have to decide if the camera is worth the cost of the repair - the amount charged by most manufactures is usually more than the cost of one of their new basic models. You will have to contact the manufacturer's authorised repair department or local distributor.
