Is there and an easy way to remove the lens/shutter unit from the camera body without complete disassembly.I'm not going to put it back together again,so if its somewhat destructive that's OK.

I've never removed the shutter from one, since it's so easy to service it in place ... but I assume if you remove the camera back and unscrew the big flat spanner ring around the back end of the lens, the shutter will just fall right off.
