I'm trying to get the shutter from a CD IIa. I think I've removed everything I need to and the assembly lifts about 2mm but then stops with a definite clunk. Appears to be hung up somewhere around the sprocket spindle. Does this have to be removed? Can't see how if it does. Any other ideas?
I've removed the top plate (obviously), the front plate, self timer lever, take up thing that engages with the take spool and the screws holding the assembly into the body. Am I missing something?
