Hey Friends,
Last week, I came across a Gizmo called a light meter amplifier for an Aires 35-V. I have no idea what I'm looking at. The ebay listing was 190270433155. It sold for $13 and change. I don't know if that's a deal or too much. What the heck is a light meter amplifier? I have some ideas, but sheesh, this is totally a new one on me. Just when I think I'm about to learn something about camera, whammo, as Steve Irwin would have said.
thanks, in advance,
Michael

By the looks a selenium booster cell - most better handheld selenium light meters had similar plug-on or fold-out booster selenium cells to increase their useful range. It does not surprise me that the same existed for some cameras.
