Hello!

I have asked on Rangefinderforum.com already but no one seems interested... I have an old Fujica V2, and from what it looks (apart from usual old light seals being non-existent, which I can fix myself), the shutter blades are stuck. They won't open at all, and I can see oil on them... Not sure if the aperture is all right, to be honest I did not realised there are two separate systems there until I've read some of the posts here today. I can check it later. Anyway, is there anyone here who could repair it for me? Obviously, I'll pay... It's such a nice camera and I would like to use it. Any help will be appreciated!

Regards
Wojtek

A defective V2 with a disfunctional shutter and most probably gummed-up aperture blades as well means a lot of repair, and I guess, as this is a non-profit forum for DIY tinkerers, you will be on your own as far as a repair is concerned.
Hobbyists often do things for themselves as a leisure activity, not so often for each other because they are paid for what they do. But you never know, maybe there is someone out there who is willing to make that deal.

:-) Thank you very much for your response. I think that's it then... Still, if there is anyone who would like to try - I am opened for the offers. :-) Thanks! Wojtek

What about a professional repair? Which will, I guess, by far exceed the camera's price when new. I have heard there is a number of repair people for all sorts of optical equipment incl. old cameras, especially in the US where the early classical Japanese RF and SLR cameras were on sale a lot earlier than in EUR. Some of these people even seem to have specialized in the repair of vintage cameras of certain manufacturers and salvaging cameras beyond repair for repair parts.
Some of the alpha leaders here in this forum should be able to provide info about details, addresses, etc.
I am very sorry for being unable to offer more than that.
