I recently acquired a Canonflex R and the shutter is hanging up on the slower speeds less than 1/15 of a second. Does anyone know where the escapement is and the best way to get in to it?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Regards,

N.

You might have already solved your problem, but never mind, I just happened to fix a similar problem on my RM, which might be similar in construction as the R. I wrote up a detailed description (with pictures)- you find it here:
