Hi, it's good to be back.
I wish to remove the lens mount from a Kiev camera. I have got the front panel off and have removed the four screws that hold the square panel where the lens mount is attached. The panel is now loose but I cannot remove it as it is obstructed by the focussing mechanism. I do not want to force it, can anybody adviseme how to proceed? Thanks, Norman

If I’m not wrong you have to take out the top cover and the rangefinder mechanism after this, then the lens mount will be out.

Hi Alex, that's what I thought but after removing all the top parts it still wouldn't come off. So I gave it a mighty tug and off it came with no apparent damage!
