Hi everybody, Anyone has experience with this rare camera ??? First, the prism needs cleaning and there are spots of fungus. need to open to check. have removed 4 screws and battery cover but top cover does not come off from prism housing.. Many outside parts seem taken directly from the Praktica screw mount line of cameras, like rewind assy with very thin shaft. And cocking lever assy... Praktica Prisms may fit, and the focussing screen seems identical to the Praktica VLC line in size and design. On prism housing the removal of small plate with serial number ( 2 screws) gave access to eyepiece that by the way was loose.. Gave it a nice clean and secured it back..Eyepiece block is not screwed on but held by 2 tiny screws under number plate gripping it from both sides at a 45 degrees angle...Weird and not very elegant. Anyone can help as to separate metal cover from prism housing so i can finish the job ??? Then there is capping partial at 1000 and total at 2000.. may need some cleaning and flushing with fluid, before any attempt to tension 1st curtain.. This shutter is peculiar vertical running, partly cloth and partly metal, a hybrid between praktica metal and exa 500... Anyone knows how to access or has some links and pictures ??? Thanks for your help !!!!! |
