hello.
i have an old canon ae-1. when i was using the film advance lever began setting off the shutter. does anyone know why this may be happening, or any easy remedies for it?

sounds like the electromagnet is failing to hold the shutter cocked when it's set. Cleaning the face of the magnet may fix it. I'm not an AE1 wizard but I think you'll find this under the bottom plate of the camera.
