I need to re-adjust the focus on 100mm F2.8 FD S.S.C. lens.
The mechanical design of this lens is very different from 50mm F1.4 (where focus stops are accessible from the front after removing plastic ring with letters).
Could anyone help me with this please?

How to get to the focus stops of this lens?

Looking at a small cutaway diagram for this breechlock lens from Canon's promotional literature appears to show a locking ring accessable once the filter ring is removed. Just a guess!

Thanks Gez..
This was my guess also but I could not see any obvious way to remove the filter ring without dismantling optics.. in which case I wil be in a great trouble :-)
