Hi,

In my Dacora Super Dignette, the front focusing ring has disengaged (loosened) from the front element. That is, moving the focusing ring does not cause the movement of the front element.

I have unscrewed the entire assembly (front element + the focusing ring with meter scale on it), but I cannot find out how to tighten the focusing ring to the front element (after checking the proper focusing first).

Any help would be appreciated.

Haven't ever fixed a Dignette, but on the Royal, the focusing ring is attached with some very tiny grub screws near the front.

Thank you for responding Sevo,

Unfortunately, there is not a tiniest screw on the focusing ring anywhere near the front element. On the outer edge there are only 4 screws holding the metal strap with metering scale, but they do not hold the front element.

The front element does not move evenly in the focusing ring when taken out; it has certain defined "stops" in the rotary movement, as if there were tabs/protrusions somewhere inside the ring to stop it.

Well, I guess it will be hard for anyone to try and help without actually holding the focusing assembly in their hands... anyway, thanks for trying to help.

Adam
