I am trying to take the top off of an S2, but after taking out the set screw on the shutter speed selector, I can't seem to get the rest of it off.
Any help would be appreciated.

I've never worked on the S2, but on the S the dial unscrews counterclockwise after removing the set screw.

Thanks Rick,

I've tried that and I still can't seem to get anywhere. It feels like it's going to break if I put much pressure on it.

I'll try my Jedi powers

No need for Jedi tricks, just got it off by turning it as suggested.

Thanks for the help!

As any good camera tinkerer worth their salt would say to another, may the force be with you!
