Last year, I purchased a used Minolta Auto Winder G for my X-700. The winder works, but after a shot is fired, the winder keeps trying to wind for several cycles before shutting off (or until I cycle the power manually). The problem goes away after I've used the winder a few times, but then comes back after I let it sit for a while.

Anyone have any ideas as to why the winder won't shut off immediately? Thanks.

I just picked up a used Winder G for my X-700 and I have the same problem of it "sounding like" it is trying to wind even after it has wound to the next frame. The sound appears to be only in the winder. I always turn it off in case it is doing some damage so I don't know if it will turn off by itself.
