I cannot get a functional winder 2 to operate when connected to my OM-1n. The winder motor runs freely when I short the two coupling contacts, but nothing happens at all when the winder is attached to the camera in any mode (single or sequence). The camera contacts look clean to me - is this an internal problem?

I think the best thing to do is try and find someone else with another OM camera to try the winder on, ask freinds to check in thier cupboards for film cameras. You never know.
