Hi,

How on earth do you remove the top plate on the Nikon FM2N? I can easily get out the obvious screws but I cannot figure out how to remove the rewind crank. Do you have any tips?

bamboo skewer or popsicle stick in the rewind fork, normal counterclockwise turning to remove.
Be sure you not the positioning of the spring thingie, and be sure the door latch lock engages properly, the iso/shutter speed is correct and the return spring for the wind crank is properly engaged (it's a pain)
