I am having problems getting the shutter release to actuate consistently. I replaced switch coupling pad (POD) and everything seems to work until I put it together. It seems to me that the coupling arm actuator is moving too far up. I noticed in the repair manual it describes a c-clip that limits the travel of the release rod. However my camera doesn't have this, instead there is a middle "hinge" on the coupling arm actuator and it seems as though it should fit in a groove in the release rod however there seems to be excess play. I am wondering if ALL electro 35's had a c-clip to limit this play or do I just need to benf the tab tighter around the release rod?
