I took apart a Zenzanon 75mm f2.8 lens.
Here is a tutorial written by someone else.

www.buonaluce.com/Slens.pdf

If you look at Pic 5 and 6, the inner and outer optical elements are shown.
However, you will will find that each one has 2 elements.
I am unable to separate these 2 elements no matter what I try.

Has anyone been able to separate these elements on your samples ?

So the front and the rear element have 2 sets of the 2 notches where we can use the callipers or a machinist divider or a lens spanner wrench.
I tried to take them apart but ending up scratching the glass - so I stopped for a bit.
I am hoping that they are not glued together - but it does look like that.

Any ideas how to proceed ?

I added a small album with pics of the rear lens element.

According to the promotional literature the EII 75/2.8 is a 6/4 configuration with doublets either side of the shutter blades.
Info on Bronica gear is hard to come by, but over on Mike Butkus' site, www.butkus.org there is a full repair manual for the ERTSi.

Zcream: you are aware, that these groups are most likely cemented doublets, and separating them will be effectively destructive to the lens?

Are they cemented together or simply thread glued ? I am hoping that they simply have thread glue. thats what was suggested by the link I posted above.

To finish this thread - I ended up cracking the glass :-( One lens is now dead.
