I replaced the broken cocking lever on my Ikoflex which uses a Prontor S shutter. I used a lever from a similar shutter in an Agfa folder, and it had a deeper bushing which I filed down to fit the main spring shaft, and everything seems to be working. I put it back together but could not figure out how to wind up the main spring, so there is not enough power to make it work right. Is there a special trick to wind up the spring before assembly on the shaft, and how many turns are required for the correct tension?

Probably you allready solved this problem but recently i had a similar problem with a Franka Rolfix Prontor-S. In the end i had to make a tool to get the Drive Spring installed again :
