Subject sums it up. I have a curtain to stick back onto its roller. Not something I've done before. Any recommendations for glue to use?

Over many years, my choice has been a rubber-based contact cement, such as Pliobond or Weldwood Contact Cement. However, this can be hard to handle with extremely thin curtains such as those in a Leica rangefinder because the solvents cause the rubber backed curtain to curl up. For those, I have used a pressure-sensitive transfer adhesive such as 3M #924 tape. This goes on dry, does not make the curtain curl, and works similarly to contact cement. I have never had either of these fail.

Here's another transfer tape - 3M 467. The adhesive is essentially the same as 3M 924; the difference is that 924 is wound with the paper on the inside and the adhesive on the outside, for use with an applicator tool..... 467 is wound with the paper on the outside, so it's easier to handle if you don't have the applicator. Both come in various widths

Rick, Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this info. It's really appreciated. And, believe it or not, I already have some 467 tape as I find it's good for sticking covers on to cameras. So I'll go with that. Thanks again.
