I just found my grandfathers old minolta srt 200 in the back of my garage. I'm not entirely camera savey and have been running into issues. First the light meter was very finicky and would only work when I inserted the battery a certain way(i just kept taking it out, puttin it in and it eventually worked). NOW in trying to get the meter to work I pressed the rewind button not knowing what it did. It would pop itself out everytime I did it. but now i've done it again and it is stuck. I have wound the film and removed it. still stuck, and as a result so is the shutter. any idea how I might un-stick it? |

I'm having the same problem - - - the film advance lever and the shutter release button are stuck! I'm trying to load film for the first time in a used Minolta SRT 100 and the wheel won't advance. My rewind button is also stuck pushed in. Sorry that I can't help you, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm in the same boat. Somebody, please help us! |

I don't know the answer to this, but this link may be of help. http://photo.net/classic-cameras-forum/00Mcoa You will notice it includes a link to download a service manual (10.9MB) This site is also quite useful on the Minolta SRT http://www.willegal.net/photo/photo-first_page.htm Good luck and let us know if and how you got them working. |
