I am trying to disassemble an Olympus OM 200/4.0, in order to clean fungus from its internal elements. I used a lens spanner on the name ring (it has two slots for it), but it seems to be stuck (or - I am doing something wrong).
How can I unscrew it?
Is it a regular RH thread?
Thanks...

Run a few drops of Naphtha into the threads and leave for a few minutes, then re-apply the solvent and try the lens spanner immediately.
