Worked for about three shots and then the lever just froze,mirror is locked up..any thoughts other than using it to hammer in a few nails..?

So long as the mirror is up the wind lever will not move and dont ever force it.
the mirror didnt come down because either the shuuter didnt close after exposure or it didnt hit the latch that returns mirror with enough force.

So It does need some clean up behind shutter. or mirror lift mechanism.

You can remove the film out in dark.
