I have bought a bronica pe lens. It is in very good condition, but the aperture blades are closing up to a half second to late.
The shutter is not closing complete (but lightproof) compared to other lenses. On other lenses, the blades are just moving further.
If i push the lock and turn the cocking pins on the bayonet side, it stops down fast without any stucking. Same with the stop-down lever on the lens.
I don't know if the shutter not closing fully has anything to do with the aperture not stopping down in time, but this is not the main problem, as it is lightproof.
Their isn't more resistance on any lever then on other pe lenses, or oil or anything that shouldn't be on the blades.
This is the only lens with this problem, though it shouln't be a problem with the body.
Strange.
I think it is a mechanical problem with the shutter (faulty gears, springs,...). But WHY doesn't it show any sign of faultiness, when i close it manually?!
Any suggestions? Don't want to open it, if there could be any simple solution....
