What is the best method for removing the pin that holds the Yashica Mat crank on to the hub?

Also is there a source for these? I have another one that the previous owner drove a small nail or something in there.

Thanks

I took a small brad nail, clipped the point off and used it as a drive punch to tap it out. As you probably know, the pin is tapered so it should tap out pretty easily.

Good luck.

I'm not sure if ALL pins (i.e. in all models) were tapered, at least the one in my 124G and in my Mat (classic) weren't. They were held in place only by the pressure of a spring-washer below. On the other hand, I can't vouch for this pin being original in either of my cameras, as both were long in service and had been taken apart before.

Either way, a thin screwdriver was all I needed to push this pin out.
