My Rolleicord III suddenly refused to cock the shutter. However, I've tracked down the cause, which proved to be a tiny spring in the actuator-ring that had broken. The spring was all over the place and very deformed, and I can't seem to figure out how the spring was mounted. Any advice on what this spring looks like and how it sits on the actuator-ring is welcomed. Below is an image of the actuator-ring:

This is how it looks in a Agfa Isolette III Synchro Compur. Should be about the same. Another photo you can find here Use the magnyfier glass and then view all sizes to get the largest image. |

This post reminds me that I am searching for the main spring (the other spring in your image) for a Rolleicord III. Probably similar to all Synchro-Compur main springs, but I have no donor parts shutters. Has anyone found a source for new Synchro-Compur springs?
