My Rolleicord III suddenly refused to cock the shutter.
However, I've tracked down the cause, which proved
to be a tiny spring in the actuator-ring that had
broken. The spring was all over the place and very deformed, and I
can't seem to figure out how the spring was mounted.
Any advice on what this spring looks like and how it sits on the actuator-ring is welcomed.
Below is an image of the actuator-ring:

This is how it looks in a Agfa Isolette III Synchro Compur. Should be about the same.

Thank you very much, now I may get the old Rolleicord in working order again.

This post reminds me that I am searching for the main spring (the other spring in your image) for a Rolleicord III. Probably similar to all Synchro-Compur main springs, but I have no donor parts shutters. Has anyone found a source for new Synchro-Compur springs?

Cheers,

I have a large selection of new old stock Synchro Compur parts including springs. Please PM me and I can help...
