My camera's power seems to come and go intermittently. I am suspicious that the battery holder is at fault - it has some discoloration at the bottom perhaps due to a leaky battery in the past. Does anyone know where I can obtain a replacement?
Dave, First thing is to soak the battery cover in some white vinegar to remove any corrosion, and clean the connections inside the well with the vinegar also. You'll need to check the wiring from the battery well to the terminal end to see if it is corroded and needs to be replaced. But cleaning the cover may fix your problem without having to replace anything, so good luck.
