Have OM-2 seems to meter and speed select fine on automatic but acts like automatic when manual selected. NO SHUTTER SPEED SELECTABILITY. METER WORKS OK THOUGH. Am thinking to clean magnet. Have worked selector from Auto to Manual several times thinking switch. Any suggestions?

Took the base plate off the non-working OM2 and another OM2 I own for comparison, to see what happens when the Auto/Off/Manual selector is moved to the different positions. I found a lever not moving freely when manual selected and moved the lever back and forth turning the phillips screw attaching it to the base. Then, I applied a sparse amount of penetrating oil on qtip to part. In photo attached the pen is pointing to phillips screw and lever needing back and forth movement until it moves freely, with the other lever arm it contacts when moving the Auto/Off/Manual selector.Pen tip pointing to screw and arm needing exercising.
