Dear all, here I have a Fujica AX-3 that works pretty well half of the time. The other half it leaves a white band on the left third of the surface
Anyone has a clue of what it is and how it could be fixed?

I think that's a light leak. You might need to replace the light seals around the film door. Jon Goodman has a set of instructions written up for the AX-3:

I don't think so, light leak are usually look like blurry blobs or band on the side of the frame like: http:[email protected]/5486316218/
And I shoot with the camera in the leather camera protection.
I might still change the foam though. |

Which way does the shutter travel on this camera?
Is it horizontal or vertical?
If it is vertical, could the shutter be stuck open slightly on some frames? |

The AX-3 has a horizontal-running shutter. |
