I ordered 2 second hand M42 lenses, they came over mail, the aperture ring of one was broke on arrival. (Yes, I know about the pin.) I got a refund but I thought maybe I can try to fix it.

When i took the fitting off, I noticed the small lever on the "bottom" (with fitting pointing upwards) moves freely. But I cannot see what's causing that so the problem must be deeper inside the lense.

I was hoping someone might recognize the thing and know how to open it to fix it, and/or know what's wrong with it. Thanks in advance.
