Hi, I am having a go at replacing the shutter curtains on a FED 1. is there a readily available fabric I can use to make new curtains. I have seen the specialist material available from Micro Tools etc, but as this is my first attempt, I'd rather try with something cheap just to see if I can do it and get everything back working before splashing out any more cash !
TIA

Fed shutter curtains are available from Ukrainian dealers on Ebay-UK. Try Ebay-UK and check "worldwide" button.

I have had both FED and Zorki curtain sets via this route and had good service that provided cheap, quality products in all transactions. The repair being nothing more than a simple case of removing the damaged curtains and reattaching the new in their place.
