Whom:

Found some of my old notes, don't ask!

Canon FTB: With the mirror box out note the 2'nd curtain alignment with the scribe on the frame. Latch adjustments to line up the 2,nd curtain with the scribe line in cocked position can be obtained by removing the speed mech. plate to gain access to 2 locking screws. Adjust second curtain leading edge to scribe line on the frame (also a good time to check for a parallel alignment with the edge of the frame mask) . Meter adj. pots Left Bat test 1000 @ ASA 100, Center High, Right Low
Canon FT Left pot High range, Right pot Bat test, Low range is eccentric stud in side the film chamber by the rewind post.

Curtain travel times Approx.

Canon 11.95 ms
Fuji 12.00 or 11.00ms
Nikormat 5.85ms
Nikon F 14.05ms
Pentax Spot., F, K1000 12.50ms
Pentax ES & ESll 11.50ms
Pentax MX 1st 12.1 & 2nd 12.3ms
Topcon Super DM 15.5ms
Canon AEl 11.3ms +- 0.3
Leitz CL 9.0 ms
Minolta Cl 10.0ms (I tried the Leitz CL specs, but it was to tight on the springs, so tuned it down a touch & seemed fine, so this is a guess.) With the curtain adjusters at the bottom: Top pot is Bat test, 2nd down High, 3rd Med., 4th above the curtain adj. is the Low range.
Olympus OM1, OM2, OM10 11.8-12.0ms

Compur Shutter Adjustments:
Adjust one second by sliding the governor in to lengthen or out to shorten
Adjust fifteenth by bending the index pin
Adjust five hundredth by pin to the right end on the end of the gov.

Pentax had three cams A standard, B slower, C faster for calibrating the 1000, 500, & 60
SPF erratic meter caused by a poor ground connection in most cases, Right pot of the eye piece is EV16, Left EV8 Resistor on main board is for the stop down metering
Pentax 6X7 cutain time 22.8ms, looking at the pc board left pot is bat test, mid pot low speed, right is high speed.
Pntax ME would jam, check for a shim on the bottom plate & if not present add a 0.8mm shim to cut the travel of the release 7 check two levers on the bottom.

Ok that is enough for now & no guarantee on any of it.
